Handcrafted in London since 2009
Each piece at Maeve Atelier begins as a conversation and ends as an heirloom. Ethically sourced gemstones, hand-finished gold, and designs that carry meaning.
Our Collections
From the everyday to the extraordinary — four collections designed to complement the moments that define you.
A deep blue Ceylon sapphire set in a hand-hammered 18k gold band. Limited to 12 pieces per year.
A sculptural arc pendant worn on an adjustable 45cm chain. Minimal, architectural, timeless.
Organic form hoops with a hand-beaten finish that catches light with each movement.
A flowing vine-form bracelet set with 0.4ct of conflict-free pavé diamonds. Bespoke sizing included.
A modern interpretation of the classic signet — wide, flat-faced, and beautifully engravable.
Three graduating star sapphires suspended from a hand-forged gold bail. Catches the light like the night sky.
Commission a Piece
Every great piece of jewelry starts with a conversation. Tell us the occasion, the person, the feeling — and we will craft something that becomes part of your story.
A private 45-minute session to explore your vision, material preferences, and budget.
We produce hand-drawn sketches and a 3D render for your approval before any metal is touched.
Your piece is hand-fabricated in our London studio over 4–8 weeks, depending on complexity.
Presented in a handmade linen box with a certificate of authenticity and care guide.
The Maeve Method
We do not use casting or mass production. Every Maeve piece is fabricated from raw metal — sawn, filed, hammered, and soldered by a single maker from start to finish.
Our gemstones are sourced from certified ethical traders and cut by independent lapidaries who share our values. We document the provenance of every stone above 0.5ct.
All gemstones are conflict-free and traceable to origin.
No casting. Every piece is formed from raw material by a single goldsmith.
Every piece is assay-tested and carries a full UK hallmark.
We use 100% recycled gold and platinum across our entire range.
All rings are sized free of charge for the original owner, for life.
All packaging is recycled, recyclable, or compostable.

Client Stories
"Maeve created our engagement ring from a rough sapphire my grandfather brought back from Ceylon in the 1960s. The ring is extraordinary — but what I will never forget is how they treated the story behind it."
"I have bought pieces from jewelers in Paris, Tokyo, and New York. The Solstice Ring from Maeve is the only one I am ever asked about. The craft is genuinely exceptional."
"I commissioned anniversary earrings and was kept informed at every stage — sketches, renders, progress photos. Receiving the finished piece felt like opening a small sculpture."
The Maker
Maeve Atelier was founded in 2009 by Maeve Callahan, a goldsmith trained at the Goldsmith's Centre in London and the Escola Massana in Barcelona. She spent six years working under masters in both cities before establishing her own studio in Clerkenwell.
Today, the atelier is a small team of five makers who share Maeve's belief that fine jewelry should be traceable, ethical, and made to outlast its owner. We do not have a wholesale business. Every piece is made for a specific person or occasion.
