Life at Sunflower
Parent Stories
"Leaving my daughter for the first time was terrifying. Sandra's team made us feel completely supported from day one. Three years in, my daughter runs to her classroom every morning."
"The parent app is incredible — I can check in on my son during my lunch break and see him doing an activity. The communication from the team is better than any school we have used before."
"Both our children went through Sunflower's pre-K program. Both started kindergarten reading independently. The academic preparation here is genuinely excellent, but the warmth is what keeps us."
FAQ
We accept infants from 6 weeks of age. A medical clearance form from your pediatrician is required before the first day.
Children with a fever above 100.4°F, or who have had vomiting or diarrhoea in the past 24 hours, may not attend. We will contact you to collect your child if symptoms develop during the day.
All allergies are documented and communicated to our kitchen team. We maintain an allergen register and label all meals. Severe allergies receive an individual care plan with epi-pen protocol if needed.
Each program has a structured daily routine including circle time, indoor learning, outdoor play, meals, and rest — adapted to age and development stage. We share a sample schedule at enrolment.
Infant and toddler spots are in high demand. We recommend enquiring 3–6 months before your desired start date. Preschool and pre-K spaces are usually available with 4–6 weeks notice.
Yes. We are approved for state childcare subsidy programmes. Our administrative team can help you understand eligibility and complete the paperwork.
