Professional Dance Training — All Styles, All Levels
Elevation is more than a dance studio. It is a community of passionate movers — from first-timers to pre-professional performers — united by a love of movement and guided by some of the most respected dance educators in the country.
Our Classes
From classical foundations to street styles, every class at Elevation is taught with expert technique, infectious energy, and a genuine love for the art form.
The foundation of all dance training. Our graded ballet curriculum builds posture, strength, musicality, and artistic expression using RAD and ISTD syllabi.
Energetic, expressive, and technically demanding. Jazz at Elevation blends musicality, powerful lines, and dynamic performance quality — from classic to commercial styles.
From foundational breaking and popping to commercial urban choreography. Taught by instructors with professional music video and tour experience.
Fluid, expressive, and deeply technical. Our contemporary classes explore release technique, improvisation, and somatic practices rooted in Graham and Cunningham lineages.
Partner dancing at its most vibrant. Learn salsa On2, bachata, and cha-cha-cha. Beginners welcome — no partner required. Popular with adults seeking community and fun alongside technique.
Rhythm, musicality, and precision. Our tap syllabus progresses from basic flaps and shuffles to complex syncopations, jazz tapping, and Rhythm tap improvisation.
Dance, performance, and character work combined. Students develop stage presence, musicality, and versatility across multiple styles in a theatrical context.
Ballet is not just for children. Our adult beginners class is a welcoming, judgement-free space designed specifically for adults starting from scratch — no experience required.

Student Reviews
"Elevation has been my second home since I was four years old. The teachers push us to be our best while making every class genuinely fun. Performing in the annual showcase every summer is the highlight of my year."
"I always thought ballet was something I'd missed my chance at. The adult beginner class completely changed that. Within six months I was moving in ways I never thought possible as a 34-year-old. The community here is warm, encouraging, and completely non-competitive."
"Both our children have grown so much here — not just as dancers, but in confidence and discipline. Sofia and the team genuinely care about every child, and it shows in the way they teach and the individual attention they give. We could not recommend Elevation more highly."
FAQ
Perfectly placed in our Junior Academy. We have classes from age 4 with our Pre-Primary Ballet programme, and beginner classes in every other style from age 5–6. Simply book a trial class and we will assess the best starting point for your child's age and energy level during the class itself.
Absolutely not. Our adult beginner classes are specifically designed for adults starting from zero. You will be in a class of people at a similar stage, taught by instructors who understand adult learners and the particular challenges of beginning later in life. Many of our most passionate and consistent students started as adult beginners.
Comfortable, stretchy clothing and clean trainers for most styles. For ballet and tap, appropriate footwear is required (we can advise on exact requirements when you book). For your trial class, just wear what you are comfortable moving in — we will sort the details later.
Monthly memberships run on a rolling 30-day cycle with a minimum of one month. You can pause or cancel with 30 days' notice. Annual memberships offer a significant saving and come with added extras. Class passes have no commitment — simply book any class with available spaces online.
Yes. All Junior Academy ballet and jazz classes follow ISTD or RAD syllabi with regular exam sittings. Exams are optional — some students and parents prefer to dance for joy without external assessment, and that is completely valid. For those who want to progress through grades, our instructors provide dedicated exam preparation in the weeks before each sitting.
