From First Call to Final Cushion

Discovery Call

30-minute free call to understand your project, timeline, budget, and how you want your space to feel.

Site Visit

We visit, measure, photograph, and listen. This is where we learn what the space needs and what you actually live like.

Concept Design

We present a full mood board, spatial concept, and key material palette. You shape the direction before any commitments are made.

Design Development

Detailed drawings, 3D visuals, full specification documents. Every decision is resolved before procurement begins.

Procurement

We manage all ordering, trade sourcing, and contractor briefing. You are updated throughout without needing to chase anything.

06

Installation & Styling

We oversee the installation and do the final styling ourselves. You walk into a finished room, not a nearly-finished one.

Hazel Carmichael

Principal Designer · BA (Hons) Interior Architecture · BIID Member

Hazel founded the studio in 2018 after a decade working for two of London's leading residential design practices. Her work is characterised by considered material pairing, warm minimalism, and a deep respect for how people actually use their homes.

Every project is designed personally by Hazel. The studio remains deliberately small — four designers, one hundred percent commitment to each client.

We typically book 6–10 weeks in advance for full project design. E-design consultations are usually available within 2 weeks. We recommend enquiring early if you have a fixed move-in or renovation date.

Yes. We work nationwide and internationally for full project design. Site visits are factored into the project fee. E-design consultations are fully remote and available worldwide.

Our full project design service works best with a minimum furniture and finishes budget of $25,000. E-design and design packages work across a wider budget range. We are always transparent about what is achievable within your budget.

Yes, for full project design engagements. We maintain a trusted network of specialist contractors, joiners, and tradespeople. We brief, supervise, and sign off all work as part of the service.

Yes. Our job is to create a cohesive whole, and existing pieces you love are part of the story. We build the design around your keepers and recommend what to add, replace, or reupholster.
