Our Story
Horizon Travel Co. was founded by two friends who left corporate careers to spend a year travelling overland from London to Singapore. What they learned — that the best journeys are the ones built around genuine curiosity — became the founding philosophy of everything we do.
Today our team of 24 specialists designs over 600 custom itineraries per year, across 120 countries. We are proud members of ASTA, ATTA, and the Sustainable Tourism Council.
Questions
All tours include accommodation (twin/double share), most meals as specified, all activities listed, internal transfers, and the services of your expert guide. International flights are not included unless specifically stated.
Absolutely. Every standard itinerary can be tailored — you can extend stays, add activities, upgrade accommodation, or convert to a private trip. Contact us and we'll design the perfect version for you.
Cancellations 90+ days before departure receive a full refund minus a deposit. 60–89 days: 50% refund. Under 60 days: no refund. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.
Each tour has a fitness rating from 1 (easy, walking) to 5 (high altitude trekking). Full details are in the tour description. Contact us if you have specific concerns.
